Slip cast a form in porcelain using the mould you made in the ‘models and moulds’ workshop or borrow one from the studio. You will learn to adjust slip correctly with specific gravity, reclaim casting scraps, and colour slip with stains or oxides using volumetric blends to find the perfect shade. 

Workshop fee:

• $175 - includes all materials plus your finished and fired porcelain form.

What to bring to Pom-me-granite Studios :

• An apron, or clothes you don’t mind getting covered in clay.

• Any images or treasures from home that inspire you.

• Sustenance, as we are a long way from a shop!

Extras:

• Your work will be fired and glazed and ready for collection in 4 weeks - or packed and sent for a fee.

• The nature of ceramics is unpredictable! Every effort will be made to ensure your pieces survive the firing, however, the studio is not held accountable for firing loss.
